Healthy Recipe - Butter Baked Potato Twisters

Potatoes are a perennial food that everyone loves to incorporate in their diet. There are abundant health benefits to it and come in an assortment of cuisine across the globe. Today, we are going to share a really yummy butter baked potatoes recipe with you all that you can enjoy on a lovely chilled rainy evening.





This recipe serves 3


INGREDIENTS:

  1. 3 Potatoes

  2. Salt (to taste)

  3. Ground Black Pepper (to taste)

  4. Dried Herbs (Optional)

  5. Butter

THINGS NEEDED:

  1. Wooden Skewer

PRE-COOKING PREPARATIONS:


Pre-heat oven at 325°F or 160°C

Microwave the potatoes for about a minute and a half to soften them a bit. (Do not peel the potato; the skin will crisp up once baked)


HOW TO CUT POTATO TWISTERS

  1. Insert a wooden skewer from the bottom of the potato and gently push it all the way to the top.

  2. Now, use a knife, and in a spiral motion, cut the potato from one side to the other, until you cover the entire length (simultaneously keep turning the skewered potato to help with your spiral motion)

  3. Un-skew the potatoes in a pan.


RECIPE:


Step 1: Sprinkle salt and ground black pepper to your potatoes. You can also selectively sprinkle dried herbs like rosemary, thyme or parsley to your skewered potatoes.

Step 2: Slather your potatoes with butter on all sides. Now, bake the potatoes for 25 minutes each on either side


Step 4: Garnish with coriander and serve with a side of home-made chutney
